1991 Foundation
In its founding year, in 1991, the logistics provider PTG Lohnverpackung from Dreieich in the federal state of Hesse had already 20 members of staff. The plant area amounted to 300 sqm.
1994 Expansion
Move to Langen. Due to continuous corporate growth, the headcount could be constantly increased. And the plant area was expanded. In 1994, 3,000 sqm were available to our clients.
1995 Growth
From 1995 to 1998 we expanded again. Now we have more than 150 permanent members of staff and a plant area of 7,000 sqm.
2001 Further growth
Ten years after start-up our plant area now covers a remarkable 25,000 sqm.
2002 Still more know-how
In response to the ever-growing demand of the market for a logistics provider offering a comprehensive range of services, in 2002 we founded the independent company PTG Consulting. The result: Consulting, efficiency analyses, packaging development, packaging management – from now on, we are a one-stop shop.
2003 More floor space
Addition of the property Raiffeisenstr. 16 with an existing hall to the company-owned premises.
2006 More efficient floor space
Move to the newly constructed storehouse in Raiffeisenstr. 16.
2007 Still more space
Addition of another external storage area to the indoor storage space.
2008 Expansion in new markets
Expansion of the value chain to the strategically important area of filling liquids, creams and lotions for cosmetic, pharmaceutical, medical and food industry by aquisition of the well known Unionpack GmbH.
2009 Start of operation at the new warehouse and production building in Rödermark
With the new production and warehouse building PTG-Lohnverpackung GmbH extends the capacities for the high packaging requirements of customers from the pharmaceutical and cosmetic business.
